D-HYDRO is a simulation software package for hydrodynamic flow models developed by Deltares. The model can be applied in 1D, 2D, and 3D modes. The package is, among other things, the replacement for the old Simona software package of Rijkswaterstaat.

The software package D-HYDRO bears many similarities to our in-house software FINEL. For some projects, such as river studies for Rijkswaterstaat, it is mandatory to use D-HYDRO. Over the years, Svašek Hydraulics has gained a lot of experience in applying and processing D-HYDRO models, especially the model schematizations made available by Rijkswaterstaat. We can efficiently apply the software within our projects, partly because we compute the models on our internal computing cluster.
