We’re excited to welcome Merijn Niemeijer (MSc.) as a Project Engineer to our team!

Merijn holds a master’s degree in Earth Surface and Water from Utrecht University. During his final year, he excelled in two dune erosion projects: his final thesis on the effects of storm sequences on the sandy Dutch coastal protection and an internship modeling dune erosion at Oost Ameland using XBeach.

With this solid basis, Merijn is well-prepared to contribute to our dune projects at Maasvlakte, Schiermonnikoog, and beyond. We’re eager to see his skills and fresh perspectives in action!
