Svasek Hydraulics is proud to continue its services for the energy transition and development of the world’s first energy island, the Princess Elisabeth Island in the Belgian part of the North Sea.

After developing the energy island’s design concept, preparing the reference design and tender documentation, we are proud to remain involved in the development of the world’s first energy island supporting Elia! Together with IMDC, CDR – Coasts Deltas Rivers and TRACTEBEL, we have been selected as Owners Engineer. In our role as Owners Engineer, we will provide technical advice and support to Elia during the design and execution phase by reviewing the design works by TM Edison (a Joint Venture of Jan De Nul Group and DEME Group), perform independent calculations and support during the fabrication and construction of the island.
